I keep getting the following error message on my screen each time I
click on the control page and or IE6.0 or page:
#msntb_toolbar_full_name#. I called MS, got someone in India wh
told
me that I had to redownload MSN, but system would not allow this.
I have seen this question before I signed up for the forum, but now I
don't know how to find that section.
Since I am new to this site and XP Pro I would appreciate your help.

Hi enquiringfellow,
*Credit to MVP Wes*
Get rid of the MSN Toolbar. Uninstall it. Reinstall it if you want.
MSN Search Toolbar

Or see this...

Hello MVP Wes,
I did try you fixes, but wound up calling Microsoft. The first time
got a Tech in Ca. After 2.5 hours of trying and deleting file he wa
able to get me back to almost normal, but after I hung up I realized
was still in SAFE MODE. When I restarted my computer I was in deepe
problems and had to call Microsoft again [thinking I would get the sam
Tech], but I got someone in India.
After another 2 hours+ I thought she had almost gotten me fixed whe
she disconnected me. Called back and cusotmer service said she woul
call back and would not give me anotehr tech until she signed off.
Waited all day with not reply.
Next day someone called and we started all over. This fellow seemed t
know his stuff, but it still took 2 hours to clear our old files that h
claimed were causing problem with IE 6.0. I continued to get an erro
message, then another and then a third different one. He claimed i
was a virus, but McAfee says I am clean.
All this has made me upset, especially since I had gone to Circuit Cit
for their FREE check where they found problems, paid the fee and the
got home to find I could not connect to Comcast.
Right now I think I am okay. The Techie got me to a positive RESTOR
point so it looks okay for now, but I am still concerned with IE 7.
when it autoloads on the 15th.
Anywho, thanks for trying to help. I appreciated your quick reply. M
apology for my delay in responding, but I was not sure it this fix ha
set in and did not want to send you a reply until I finished thi
process
