recent purchase of 2nd computer with Windows XP OS. Not
connected to internet. Had a problem with some music
studio software, caused computer to crash. On restarting
every occasion get message 'Your computer has recovered
from a serious error. To help improve service etc etc
send the error report to Microsoft' Only I'm not online
with that computer, so cannot comply. How can I get rid
of the message?

You can disable the sending of error messages to
Microsoft by right clicking My Computer, goto Advanced
tab, Error Reporting Button, then Disbale error reporting.

You are recieving critical errors, so if you want you can
turn off the notify, however i don't recommend it as you
should let yourself know when the error occurs.
