I keep getting a box that says

APP_BK_048
Connection Timed Out
(Error 10060)

What is this and how do I make it stop?

Kirs, its some kind of application program that is
running while you are connected online - if you are
"always on" (i.e., Cox-internet or DSL), then this is
some additional application running in the background.
You can either disable it by doing a "msconfig" on your
start-up files. Click "Start" --- "Run"---then when
the
dialog box opens, type in "msconfig" (without the
quotes),
click on the StartUp tab and find that application file
listed.
UnCheck the checkmark next to it and re-boot, and it
won't
come up anymore. There will also be another window
opened
up, since you altered the configuration of your
startup, telling
you that this will always open up, but then you can
check the
little box on the bottom of that where it says "Never
show this
tip again"....and it won't pop up on your desktop every
time you
shutdown and boot up or do re-boots.

You asked this before and were told that you probably have a trojan
running. Did you scan with a current antivirus using updated
definitions? What did the scan show?
