Ever since I loaded Windows XP, I get the following error
message while running Internet Explorer 6.0, "The
instruction at '0X1000033F4' referenced memory
at '0X00006C6C'. The memory could not be 'read'. It
then proceeds to shut off IE. Microsoft knowledge base
references solutions for Windows 2000, but doesn't show
what the solution is for Windows XP. Does anyone have
any solutions?

Your email address has an error in it, (earthlink). Most
likely your PC has some bad RAM memory in it. If one of
the memory modules is faulty, and there is more than one
in the PC, troubleshoot by removing one at a time and then
reboot. Also you should open the case to inspect for loose
RAM modules, so re-seat them in firmly in the slots. And
for XP to run well, you need at least 256 MB of RAM, so
upgrade to more memory if needed. You can test the RAM
with diagnostic programs also.
