I am receiving and error message: 16 bit windows subsystem file not suitable
for running ms-dos and window. I located a troubleshooting page on the
website, however, when I got to step 15 I was lost. I am suppose to locate a
specific file, and I don't know where to find it. Does anyone know where I
locate this file?

Don't know since we don't know what page you're using, what step 15 is or
what the name of the file is that you're looking for. Give more details and
maybe someone can help.

Replace the standard version of autoexec.nt/config.nt by copying a backup copy
located in %windir%\repair\ to %windir%\system32\
(NB: %windir% is typically C:\Windows)

C:\windows\repair\ to C\windows\system32\

Assuming C: is your default drive where windows is installed

Using Windows Explorer or starting from My Computer and selecting the C Drive
(assuming C is the installation drive), Open the Windows folder, look for
the Repair
folder and in that folder is the autoexec.nt file (also config.nt).
Select the autoexec.nt file and copy it by using the key combination of
Ctrl+C.

Now navigate to the System 32 Folder and open it.
In that folder, you should be able to now use the key combination Ctrl+V to
paste the copied autoexec.nt file into the C:\windows\system32 folder files
area.

Repeat for the Config.nt

Hope that explains it.

Thanks this helps! I'm going to try it, I'll get back with you and let you
know if it worked!
