Error message

When I start up I get a box which reads:

C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\AUTOEXEC.NT. The system file is not suitable for running msdos and microsoft windows applications. Choose close to terminate the application.

I don't know which application the message refers to as there isn't one open at the time. There is a button to close and one to ignore.

It didn't appear to cause any problems but when I tried to use and OLE of Page Plus 7 the box came up and the program crashed.

Can anyone help?

My suggestion would be to reinstall Page Plus

Looks like a corupted NT file ... try XP_FIX.EXE ... second on the list.

Thanks for help. Took myself off to support.microsoft and gave it a go. Seems to be working!!!!!

I had that problem i think not that long ago ... i just clicked ignored because i couldn't be bothered with it ! lol

Gone now ! Dunno how but oh well !!! hehe
