I believe that your problem is caused by the actual name of your "Name"
field. The word "name" is a reserved word in Access 2000 (actually was in
Acc97 but not enforced). That means that you cannot have a field called
"Name" You can rename it to something like MyName, FullName, LastName, etc.
If you start by renaming the field in your table, you will then also need
to look at your queries, forms and reports (labels) to change the name of
the field in those objects also.
