Error Message

I asked this question last week and have not had any
response. Can someone provide input?

I'm getting the following error message when trying to
open my mdb:
"The microsoft jet database engine could not find
object "databases". Make sure the object exists and that
you spell its name and the path name correctly"

I find the file and either double click to open or open
access and try to open from file menu and get the above
error.

Any ideas? Is it corrupt? Is it recoverable? Thanks!

I believe this is a sign of corruption.
I suggest you copy the database first.

Try compacting your database using Jetcomp, available at
http://support.microsoft.com/?id=273956

If that fails, try creating a new database and importing objects from the
old.
