An info message appears whenever an Excel or Word document is opened.
The message says something about the XLS file is already open,
suggests to rename.
I did rename, but the dupe file also presents same Info message when
file is opened. A Search does not find another file with the same
filename.xls on my computer.
Word 97 presents a similar Info message.
I am opening these app files by hitting enter or by mouse click from
Windows Explorer. However, Info messages do not appear when opening a
recently file from within the WORD or Excel program, with the File
menu.
Any suggestions/explanations why these Info messages are shown? Is
this normal behaviour ?
Using Win XP Pro, I think with SP2 included.
Thanks.
