I keep getting this error message in box "The instruction at "0x77279a88"
referenced memory at "0x01d86440". The memory could not be read. Running
Windows XP Home. Anybody got any suggestions.

Hi maryse :-)

Try the following and see if it helps:

Memory Could Not Be Read Error
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;262490

Memory Could Not Be Read While Doing File Operation
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;267858

It could also be a BHO (Browser Helper Objects) causing the problem.
Download and install a free utility called BHOdaemon to disable any helpers
you do not want.

also check here:
How to Disable Third-Party Tool Bands and Browser Helper Objects
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;EN-US;Q298931

also...

If you have the Google toolbar, try uninstalling it, as it might be
conflicting with IE.

Hope this helps.
