I am trying to import an old Outlook .pst file that was created in Outlook 2000 on a Windows 98 PC. My new PC is a XP box with Outlook XP. When I try to import the old .pst file I get an error message that states “File access denied. You do not have the permission to access the fileâ€. Can anyone help?

Place the file on your harddisk and remove the "Read Only" file property.
Also note that you can connect to the file by File-> Open-> Outlook Data
File...
