Error message when importing from outlook 2000

I am trying to import my messages from Outlook 2000 to Windows Mail.
When I click the import from Outlook in Vista mail I get the error
"Windows Mail has stopped working" and it restarts. Both programs are
installed in my new Windows Vista computer. Please help....

Does Outlook work?
You may have to download the trial version of Outlook 2007.
