Experiencing an error when I create a recurring meeting notice. The initial
meeting notice seems to work just fine, but once I open it again, make a
change and try to resend I get the error message: "The item could not be
saved because it has been modified by another user or in another window."
The fact is it has not been modified by another user. It happened within 30
min. of creating the initial meeting notice. I'm not sure what "another
window" is referring to. Has anyone had experience with this? Thank you!

Are you trying to edit a single occurance or the entire serie? What version
of Outlook are you using?

we are having the same issue with our Execs and their Admins. Any thoughts
woudl be great. We have Exch 2007 and a mix of OL2003 and OL2007.

We also are having the same issue with our Execs and their assistants. Any help is appreciated

We are also seeing this problem on recurring meeting requests. All updates
and patches applied. Server is Exchange 2007, clients are Outlook 2003.
Anyone else have any ideas? This is on a clean install of everything on the
client. New profile, etc. Very annoying.

We are also seeing the same errors and problem and they have worsened in last
week. Does anyone have a fix for this.

We have resolved the problem of our users by making sure that their Windows
Mobile phones are not connected via their USB cables to their computers when
messing with their calendars. Not sure if we have an out-of-date version of
ActiveSync or what, but we can reprodue the error and fix the error by simply
unplugging the Windows mobile phone, strange. I think a blackberry with the
blackberry desktop software will cause the same issue if it's plugged in.

Would be interested to know if this fixes anyone elses' problem as well.
