error message when booting

my laptop won't boot until i click off the following
screen:

The specified module could not be found.

How do I get rid of this? Thanks.

Run msconfig.exe (http://www.svrops.com/svrops/dwnldoth.htm)
and use it to disable the offending startup task.

I have AdAware on my PC, but no bridge.dll. Regardless of
this, the OP's message means that some program created a task
to be run at startup time, and that some components required by
this task have been deleted. Disabling the task is one way to
resolve the problem; re-installing the application is another way.

bridge.dll is installed as part of a number of spyware/hijacker type apps, I
didn't mean it was part of the Adaware app, I used the term generically,
which I now realise is open to misinterpretation.
