I receive the following when I click on the share folder
of the laptop in my network.
"\\Laptop is not accessible. You mighjt not have not
have permission to use this network resource. Contact
the administrator of this server to find out if you have
access permissions."
My network has a wireless hub, two WXP Home sytems, one a
desktop (cableed)and one a laptop (wireless link), and
then another desktop (W98 SE) cabled. I just recemtly
got the network to see the laptop using the wirelss link
card. But, when I go to share files, etc. I get the
message above. Mu user profile says I have administartor
rights on both WXP machines.

Please, any help would be greatly appreciated.

I've written a web site that should help you solve the problem:

Windows XP Network Troubleshooting
http://www.practicallynetworked.com/sharing/troubleshoot

Please pay particular attention to these sections:

1. Firewalls: Permanently disable XP's built-in Internet Connection
Firewall on local area network connections -- it's for use only on a
direct modem connection to the Internet. Disable and un-install all
other firewalls while troubleshooting.

2. Protocols: Use only one for File and Printer Sharing. If the
network needs more than one protocol, unbind File and Printer Sharing
from all but one of them.

3. NetBIOS over TCP/IP: Make sure that it's enabled on all computers.
