Hi,
I run Outlook XP. For some reasons I had to make a new .PST file. I saved
the contacts I had in the old one. Everything works fine exept when I want
to select addresses in the letterhead. When I click "To..." I get an error
message saying (translation from Swedish): "It is not possible to show the
address list. The contact folder associated with the address list was not
possible to open. It can have been moved, deleted or you don't have the
rights to access it..." After pressing OK the "select name" dialog appears
and in the "show names from"-dropdown there are two "Contacts". If I select
the other one things work fine.
How do I change things so only the right Contacts is shown?

Regards,

Go to Tools > E-mail accounts > View or change existing directories or
address books > Outlook Address Book. If it is not listed, back up one step
and add it. If it is, then click on Change. to make sure that _only_ the
Contacts folder(s) you want to display are listed. Remove any extra or
invalid references to Contacts Folders. You may need to enable the Contacts
Folder as an e-mail address book by R clicking the Folder > Properties and
check the "Show this folder as an E-mail address book" box. Make sure you
restart Outlook after making these changes.

Oooh, that worked perfectly! Sufficed with the first part.
Shame that the Outlook help file gives you so little information, or makes
it so hard to find, when it's really an easy task to accomplish.
Anyway, you made my day!
/Lars
