Hi,

Can anyone help with a fix for this error message.
It appears similar to the fix in the knowledge base but
does not have quite the same error message and occurs at a
different time.

On boot up 2000 will load then after a short while, after
loading the usual programs will die with the message :-

Stop 0x0000001E Kmode exception not handles ( 0xC0000005
0xA00A47EA)
A00A47EA Base at A000000 Win32K.sys

Any help would be usefull.

I have succeeded in loading with the last known good
configuration so it is not a serious problem but it is
annoying as it happens sometimes when just changing user.
8-((

Thanks

Martin

Martin,

When a Stop bugcheck happens the system will normally generate a Memory.dmp file. If you have this file, the best
suggestion I can make would be to open a support incident where you can provide the dump file to the engineer and they
can debug it to determine what caused the bugcheck.
