How can I stop this message? It keeps appearing in a pop-up window:

"Please wait while Windows configures Microsoft Office 2000
SR-1 Premium".

There's a Cancel button, which I press, but the message keeps appearing.
I think it appears every time I start the computer.

Sometimes there's also a message about not being able to find the
installation components of Microsoft Office and a button appears
prompting me to browse for the components.

This is really an Office question, not an XP question, and would be better
posted to an Office group. When exactly this message appears, in response
to what, would be relevant information.

Try not cancelling the message so that the process can actually complete.
You may need to supply the CD.

I don't have the c.d., and "Cancel" is the only button that appears
because the computer can't find the installer.

The instructions on the Microsoft site don't work. I've given up on
trying to solve this problem because it's so difficult and complicated
and time-consuming.

I'm glad my main computer is an Apple; I don't have to deal with
bullshit problems like this on My Apple Mac. The non-Apple p.c.s drive
me crazy.
