Hi I open a new blank database in access 2007. I make my table and try to
make a form using the form wizard and I get the following error

The database cannot be opened because the VBA project contained in it cannot
be read. The database can be opened only if the VBA project is first deleted.
Deleting the VBA project removes all code from modules, forms, and reports.
You should back up your database and delete the VBA project. To create a
backup copy, click cancel and make backup. To Open the database and delete
the VBA project click OK

When I click Ok, nothing happens and then when I try and make a form, It
says cannot update database or object is read only.

I am not converting an earlier database and there is no code anywhere . Just
a simple table.

Can you tell me how to fix this please?

Thanks

Tom,

I just answered your later post which seems little different from this one.
Did you add a form since this post?
