I keep getting that error message within 1 to 20 min. of turning on my computer. The only way to get rid of it is by turning off my computer. The message reads "reminder" The page you are looking for is currently unavailable....Each time it is redated and may pop up at various times after starting up. regardless of what I'm doing. It's been about a week now and I'm eager to get rid of this nuisance
Ps, I'm new to pc. previous Mac user. Please help!

when it happens again, try pressing ctrl alt and del and go into task manager and see in the list of running processes, if you have a runner called SERVICE.EXE but don't confuse this with services.exe, i had this running and i kept getting all sorts of rubbish popping up until i disabled it in sytem admins/ services/ messenger, not had any funny pop ups since, but please check it out first before acting on my info as this helped me but might not be your problem, hope this helps an

Greetings --

Sounds like a remnant of some shareware or evaluation software
that you tried and subsequently removed. Since you can use Task
Manager to close it, you know the application's name. Simply use
MSConfig to show you where the command starting this program is
originating, so that you can permanently eliminate the source of your
irritation. Look in the C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Start
Menu\Programs\Start Up and C:\Documents and Settings\username\Start
Menu\Programs\Start Up folders, and in the system registry, primarily
in the HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run and
HKCU\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run keys.
