I have been experiencing a problem. When I go to websites, such as Yahoo or
Hotmail, the page loads but part of the page has the error message "Page
Cannot Be Displayed". I downloaded and ran the Guided Help to automatically
fix any connection problems. During the process, Guided Help stopped saying
that it was having trouble finding the next step and that I had to stop if it
didn't start automatically. Since that didn't work, I downloaded and ran the
networks diagnostics tool. It said that there was nothing wrong with my
connection. Anyone have any ideas? Also, when I press the back button, I
have to do it a few times before it will go back to the previous page. I
tried downloading the Firefox browser and encountered the same error messages
but not the back button problem. What could be the problem?
Thanks

Hi Dennis :-)

You don't mention the version of Windows you are using, but, try the
following and see if it helps:

What to Do When You Receive "The Page Cannot be Found" Error Message in Your
Browser

If still not joy:

Dealing with Unwanted Spyware and Parasites:
http://mvps.org/winhelp2002/unwanted.htm

Be aware, your Anti-Virus won't detect all types of warez; Trojans, malware,
worms, etc., and neither can other adware or spyware related programs such
as AdAware and SpyBot. They don't have the proper definitions. They must
also be run in Safe Mode with Hidden Files enabled in order to fully scan
all files to be fully effective. Even if you have run such programs and
nothing shows up, it does not mean your system is clean. It takes a series
of programs to fully clean your machine. *Some very aggressive and damaging
variants of malware can replicate themselves repeatedly, or mutate, if not
removed properly.*

Hope this helps.
