error message only when opening IE 6.0

When I first open IE I get the cannot find server/this
page cannot be displayed error. However, if I hit the
refresh button, it loads the page without any problem.
This happens regardless of what website is set as my
homepage. If I logoff and logon as someone else, the
problem isn't there. How can I fix this problem?

Your user profile may be corrupted. Delete the old profile and create a new
one.
