I have been unable to receiving certain emails recently
because they have been too large to download. The emails
in question are 241 mbytes, 2.55 mbytes, 143 mbytes, 50
kbytes and an image file of 2.41 mbytes. Each time I start
Outlook the system tries to download these files and as I
consequence I continue to get the above mention error
message. Kindly advise how I can either download these
files or delete them so I no longer receive these messages.

Use your ISP's webmail interface to log into to your account to delete
the extremely huge files. What idiot sends you e-mails that are 241MB
in size? E-mail is for the transfer of messages, not for file transfer.
Have them get a web site or use an FTP server if they want to send you
files larger than your mailbox's quota. If your mail provider doesn't
provide a webmail interface then bother them with a phone call to have
them delete the e-mails with big attachments for you (and bitch to them
that they do not provide a webmail interface). If they run a
non-Windows mail server host, you may be able to telnet to the mail
server and enter the POP3 commands yourself.

Outlook will try to download ALL pending e-mails and update the status
of the downloads only *after* all have been downloaded. That means if
one of the downloads fail that it will not reset the status of any of
them and you end up having to retry downloading them all over again in
the next mail poll.
