message:
The application or dll c:\windows\system 32\dpnhupnp.dll
is not a valid windows image. Please check this against
your installing diskette.

at the top of this message it says:
msmsgs.exe-bad image

Any suggestions as to what to do?

Allow me to see if I can help you out here.
The file [ c:\windows\system 32\dpnhupnp.dll] open search
and put dpnhupnp.dll this exact file in the windows
search files and folder box. when the search page
brings up the file , click on the file and at the top of
the file click on containing folder this will open the
page with this fil, the file will be highlighted, click
on it and delete it, now shut down your system reboot,
there error message all gone. if there is a second error
message of the same type with a different file name, by
no means click on the file. then do the same exact
thing you did before, these malform files sometimes run
in pairs.
