Error Message on certain programs while terminating

On one program I get an error message every time I shut it down. I was
wondering if anyone knows what it might mean. It would suggest to me that I
could have some bad memory, but it may be the way the programmers set up the
program.

"Instruction @ 0x7c14fe7 referenced memory @ 0x0000001c could not be read"

I get a similar error on a Leadtek FM tuner app... it's just the app,
not the memory in that case.

Tryrunning http://memtest86.com for a few hours, and note whether
anything else produces errors. You could also (temporarily) reduce
the memory bus speed or timings or try different memory but if it's
just one app it's most likely the app.

Thanks, I pretty much agree. I did have one installation routine that did
the same thing, but considering how many different things I run, I only get
the message at specific-repeatable times. Hopefully other apps aren't
having the same problem, but just not telling me.
