Usually when I get this error message it is due to me accidently inserting a
"hidden" space when typing an address, usually when I try typing faster than
the fingers can keep up with.

If you can not delete the address in the message that is waiting and
manually retype it you might want to create a new message, and manually type
the address and then copy/past the text of the message to the new one. Once
the new one is sent you can then delete the problem message.

I mention manually typing in the new address in case the hidden character
has made it into the address book. If that has happened then it too will
need to be edited by you to correct the problem for future messages to this
person.

Notice the error message ?
.......... Server Response: '550 Recipient cannot contain a space
(<[email protected]>)' ............
Get rid of the " < " and " > " symbols.
Here is the link for your cableone.net : Pay attention to step #6 : "
Outgoing server requires authentication "
