Error message- Microsoft can not open Outlook 2007

When I click on a email address from Yahoo or Comcast.net in the text area of
the email I should be directed to Outlook 2007 to write my message to the
address I want to send to. But I get a pop up message.

Microsoft can not open Outlook 2007.

How do I get Outlook to open this way or do I need to copy and paste forever?

What email client have you chosen as default in Windows' settings?
