Dont know whether this is the right group but, if not, can someone
point me in the right direction?

I have photo Story 3 on my XP Home machine.

Some time ago I successfully made some some very nice Photo Stories.
Now, when I go to the programme and try to Play one of the stories I
get the error message 'A device attached to the system is not
working' No indication whatsoever as to what is the cause. All
devices seem to be working on thre machine.

I can sucessfully play the Photo Stories from Windows Media Player.

Thanks

PhotoStory is not a media player it just launches
Windows Media Player. If you opened PhotoStory 3
and selected 'Play A Story' and then selected a saved
PhotoStory to play...there must be a problem with the
link between PhotoStory and Windows Media Player.

Maybe a reinstall of PhotoStory would help.

If you are wanting to re-edit a PhotoStory you need
the .wp3 project file.

Thanks Papa John. Have checked Microphone. All OK and still get
message.

Have uninstalled PS3 and fresh reinstalled PS3. Still get message.

Any further Ideas?

Thanks

PS3 starts up WMP when you play existing stories from it's menu. Maybe the
issue is with WWP.
