ERROR Message in ms dis 10

I keep getting Error messages only in MS Digital Image Suite 10
low memory close other programs and the program hangs.
In the event viewer little info except Event 1000 and 1001 and 1002
The only information in the Event Properties is
Event ID: ( 1001 ) n Source (Microsoft Digital Image Pro 10) cannot be
found. The local computer may not have the necessary registry information or
message DLL file to display message from a remote computer. You may be able
to use the forward/aaaAUXSOURCE=flag to retreive this description; see Help
and support for details. The following information is part of the event:
239985475.
This the only computer I have. As you can probably tell I have no idea what
I'm doing. I need help in simple language. I'll try to respond with a short
message. Thank you, Benjamin

Based on the info you provide...I have no
idea what your problem is.

Maybe the following articles will offer some
ideas:

(894723) Digital Image stops responding
when you try to start the program

(894512) You experience problems when you
try to save a picture in the Digital Image Library
or in Picture It! Photo Premium 9
http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=894512
(if this is the issue...open Norton and manually
run Live Update...there will be a download that
updates the program to version 4.02)

(873297) Picture It! or Digital Image Pro may
quit unexpectedly while you are using the program
http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=873297

(873296) You receive an "Unable to create
dialog" error message when you open or
change images in Picture It! Digital Image Pro

I know I should start a new thread, but am unable to access a "New | Message"
window with no support or help from Microsoft. This is the message I get:

As mentioned on our previous e-mail, Microsoft News Group Support Group can
best assist you with your issue. You may contact them by going to:
http://support.microsoft.com/contactus/?ws=support.

In any event if anyone has any tips on accessing picture files for the
calendar project on Microsoft Digital Image 2006 Suite, it would be greatly
appreciated:

I can select one of the calendar projects. When I get to the
"Insert Disk" dialog box, I can either insert my Digital Images CD or
"Browse " to use one of my own photographs. When I press Browse I can
navigate to My Pictures | mypictures directory where my pictures are.
When I press OK the names of my picture files do not appear, and the
"Insert Disk" dialog box appears again - this circular activity keeps
repeating itself.

How can I get access to my pictures to use in the calendar project Again
I am using Digital Image Suite 2006.

As for beginning a new thread....what
happens if you go to the following site
and click ...new/question?

microsoft.public.windowsxp.photos
http://tinyurl.com/937fe

First I would suggest that you reinstall
DIS 2006 and allow the complete program
to install so you will not have to access the
disk for artwork/projects.

All virus scanners should be disabled
during the install...if you have an HP OfficeJet...
turn it off... This and other install tips are
discussed in a readme file on disk one.
