Error message in IE help

When in IE window, surfing websites, the message "The page (or image) cannot
be displayed" in small areas of the IE window, sometimes several of them.

These areas are usually where 3rd party advertisers images or web links are
normally displayed.

This just started occurring----maybe a security setting issue? I did make a
couple of changes, went back to review, but couldn't remember the exact
changes I made. Maybe I shouldn't complain, might be a good thing, but
occasionally I like to click those links--

They're prolly being blocked by entries in your hosts file, Ferdy. You may
have added the entries manually, you may have added a 'custom hosts' list to
your hosts file, or an anti-spyware app might have added them.
