The instruction at "0x629133b1" referenced memory at "0x629133b1". The memory
could not be "read". Click on OK to terminate the program

Any ideas what the cause of this could be? How can I fix IE?

By the way - XP all latest updates. Found no spyware or adware in multiple
scans.
MSN Messenger beta 8 is installed.

Hi Tom :-)

Try the following and see if it helps:

If you have any 3rd party toolbars such as Google, Yahoo or MSN, or Yahoo
Companion, uninstall them and see if the problem is resolved.

If still no joy..

Memory Could Not Be Read Error

Memory Could Not Be Read While Doing File Operation

It could also be a BHO (Browser Helper Objects) causing the problem.
Download and install a free utility called BHOdaemon to disable any helpers
you do not want.

Hope this helps.
