Error message during open & close

I am running Windows Vista and Microsoft Word 2000. All of a sudden, every
time I open Word (or a word document) and when I close a document, I get a
message for Visual Basic that reads "Compile Error in hidden module:
AutoExec".

It does not seem to have any effect on any document that I open, however. It
is just a nuisance, and documents won't completely load until I click on OK.

How do I corrrect this?

You have an autoexec macro in normal.dot or (more likely) an incompatible
add-in. Correct the problem in the normal template or remove the add-in.
