Error message: Delphi trial period expired.

I had this problem with the Error Message: The module was
compiled with a trial version of Delphi. The trial period
has expired.

Solution (from Delphi):
In regard to the error message you are receiving, "this
module was compiled with a trial version of Delphi," I
believe that we have finally tracked down what the cause
of this error is. If you are able to open up your
Control Panel via the Start Menu then do so. Some users
have reported that they cannot do this; in this case you
will need to reboot your computer into Safe Mode. To do
this, reboot the machine and press F8 as it is starting
back up. You will be presented with a list of options,
one of which is "Safe Mode." Once you have the Control
Panel open, select "Add/Remove Programs." You will see a
list of applications installed on your machine. One of
these should be called "CPR." This is a rogue program
that seems to have been written with the Trial Edition of
the Delphi language and when that trial expired, so did
the software written with it. Unfortunately, this
software made it onto several users computers before
expiring, leading to the error message you are seeing.
Remove this "CPR"
application with the Add/Remove Programs window, and you
should see these errors go away. The users that I have
spoken to have all reported that this CPR application was
not something they intentionally installed, and have not
reported any negative side effects from the removal of it.
