error message accessing FP web files

I am trying to update my web page. I continue to get the
same message over and over and I cannot publish my changes
to my page. The error message reads:

"An error occurred accessing your FrontPage web files.
Authors - if authoring against a web server, please
contact the webmaster for this server's site. Webmasters -
please see the server's system log for more details."

Can anyone tell me what this means or what to do about
it? I can't even make changes when I go to the web and
click on edit page. It lets me make the edits, but will
not publish them. A friend can go to the web and click on
edit and make changes and publish them from his computer.
Why can't I publish from mine?

Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!
 
There could be lots of reasons. Have you made sure that you are not behind a
proxy or firewall? It could be that you are behind a proxy server that is
blocking part of the authentication request that is sent to FrontPage.
Sometimes a program like ZoneAlarm will block FP from communicating properly
also.
