Error Message 02B0 Diskette drive A error

Tyan MB...Dual AMD...1 gig mem.... All of a sudden I am getting this
message and the machine stops and hangs. I have tried disconnecting the
floppy A drive. Swapping the pri ide and sec ide cables. Nothing works
.. Can someone give me some insight so this machine doesn't end up in my
driveway in pieces.

Have you replaced the CMOS battery and re-programmed CMOS settings

Duh! What a great idea. I will try that. Can anyone recommend anything
else that I might try?

Do you have the floppy drive seek in the bios turned off? BIOS set to
the correct floppy type?
