Error Mesage 0x8004210B

Running Outlook 2002 SP2 I have just started to get this
error msg concerning time outs when trying to send
attachments. My ISP says this is an Outlook problem.

Anyone help me here?

I run McAfee and get the error message whether it is
running or closed.

I have re-created my email account as per Q315049 -
problem still there.

The other refernce has been covered in SP2 upgrade done
some time ago.

I'm left thinking it is a flow control or attachment size
limitation imposed by my ISP - they never declare such
things!

Any other ideas?
 
Somebody with a similar problem had NetZero as an ISP. They solved it by
getting NetZero to activate port 25 on their account.

Do you have a router?

Do you have Norton SystemWorks 2000, or the Freedom Security Zero Knowledge
Firewall software?

It not, have you installed any other software or hardware to your computer
or network between you and your ISP?

If this doesn't help, I am at a loss to explain it.
