can anyone around here check the microsoft antispyware
folder on C: hardrive, program files, Microsoft
antispyware and check the error.log does this exist on
your computer and the size is about 15kb and seem to be
getting bigger everytime i turn off microsoft antispyware
or shutdown the computer.
 
Are you having any trouble with the app? For some users having trouble
launching the program after apparently successful installs, this file has
had useful information.

On my own apparently working fine machine, I've got this short file:

It is growing slowly, as you can see, so for this beta, some growth seems to
be normal. Yours sounds like it is out of line with mine, clearly--mine is
around 3-4k.

everything is working fine except Microsoft antispyware
on startup keep starting even when i configure it not to
start so i have to manually shutdown it on the system tray
everytime window starts

im guessing that is the problem?can you try to manually
shut it down on system tray and see if
the log get bigger?thnx

If it helps, I believe I have seen others post about the program ignoring
users settings abut startup or not.

On my mother-in-laws machine I removed it from the RUN key in the registry
to keep it from starting up. She is in her 90's and any new dialog box gets
her upset. I want the program on there so that I can use it for testing at
intervals when I can connect, but I don't want it to be visible to her or to
get in her way.
