Error log Contents

Can I delete the contents of the Error log stored in c:\Program
Files\Microsoft AntiSpyware? It seems to be the problem to the "taking
forever" launch time of MSAS on my PC.

Yes--I think it is safe to delete the error log.
Don't know if it will help your problem, though.
