Error loading MS AntiSpyware

When I try to open the AntiSpyware, I get a message
telling me that there is a critical error and to try
restarting MS AntiSpyware again. It also says that if
the problem continues, to contact
(e-mail address removed).

Seems a little fishy and I'm wondering if there is some
sort of virus preventing the program from running?

Any advice you could give would be really helpful! Thank
you,

Mollie

Sounds like Error 101. What's your workaround?

Please don't contact that support alias. These groups are the right place
to get support for this beta product.

There are a couple of viruses that attempt to shut down Microsoft
Antispyware's real-time protection.

If you aren't running an antivirus application with current definitions,
either of these online scanners should detect these bugs:

http://security.symantec.com
http://housecall.antivirus.com

I suspect your problem may well be the beta itself though--so I have the
same question Sandi Hardmeier posed--can you give us more details about this
message?

Have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling in a non-default location such
as C:\MSAS?

Critical Error 101 : 1) Control Panel, Add/Remove Programs, select
'Microsoft Antispyware'. Update the software via 'change', 'next',
'update', 'next', 'install'. 2) Control Panel, Administrative Tools,
Services. Ensure DCOM Service is running.
