Error loading C:\WINDOWS\System32\bridge.dll

What does that mean and how can I fix it. This happened
last time when my computer got all messed up and I had to
take it to BestBuy and pay like $40 just to get the virus
taken off. I tried running regsvr32 softpub.dll and it
says it succeeded but nothing changes. Please tell me
what it means what it does to my computer and how can I
fix it? Thank you!

Bridge.dll is a component of adware from RightNow Technologies Inc.

Look, instead of running to Best Buy every time your computer gets infected,
it's time to get smart. For less than the $40 you spent to have your
computer deloused, you could have purchased Norton AntiVirus and had
fulltime virus and adware/spyware protection. NAV detects the presence of
this particular adware, which it calls WinFavorites.

Go here: http://securityresponse.symantec.com/avcenter/search.html and
search for WinFavorites. You'll find two articles about this spyware and
removal information.

Bridge.dll is used as part of spyware. What happens after the program is deleted by AdAware or SpyBot SD, the pointer remains so you keep getting an error message on start-up. The easiest way to clean it out is to use HiJack This. The program gives you a log sheet and the folks at Computer Cops can then review it and tell you which lines need to be fixed, which HiJack This can do. They can be found at http://computercops.biz

It worked for me.
