Error Invalid Pointer 0x80004003 when starting scan

When the castle appears with an exclamation point in the systray and
recommends I run the scan, pressing the start button results in the above
error...
Nothing in the event viewer..

If you are using the Web Interface to view this forum.
Type your error code 0x80004003 into the Search box and choose either
the Announcements group or the General Discussion group. (or any NG)

This is a bug--known, but not yet fixed in code distributed thus far. I
believe we have a post stating that it will take a rev to the UI code to fix
this one, and that hasn't been made yet. Such an update will, I believe,
come via the normal update mechanisms. Scanning via the menus should work
fine.
