error: invalid character

having reinstalled windows and office xp, taken all of
the updates i now get the error message:

Runtime error
Line: 1
Error: Invalid character

it occurs every time i got to msn.com and view emails
with yahoo

Any ideas why this is happening?
 
Common script errors messages can be eliminated by Clicking:
Menu: Tools - Internet Options - Advanced tab.
Check "Disable script debugging"
Uncheck "Display a notification about every script error"

Or it's simply a small error on the page you are viewing.
