Trying to Install Advantech WDT API and it keeps failing....

API Log
[2005/09/02 06:03:07 356.3 Driver Install]
#-019 Searching for hardware ID(s): adv_wdt
#-198 Command line processed: C:\WINDOWS\system32\services.exe
#-166 Device install function: DIF_SELECTBESTCOMPATDRV.
#W059 Selecting best compatible driver failed. Error 0xe0000228: There are
no compatible drivers for this device.

I first manually copied the files, and it failed, so I then used the
Advantech Setup program and it still fails.
DLL is in the System32 dir. the .Sys file is in the Drivers directory like
it should be. Any Ideas?

Check the .inf file. Make sure it's using the correct one. If you manually
point to the correct inf does it work?
I had the same error and the problem turned out to be the inf file wasn't
being copied to c:\windows\inf from the repository. Once I sorted that out
it worked fine.

Yep, That is exactly what it is. The INF does not exist.

Thanks,
Richard
