Error installing game

Please help,
I am trying to load Farcry but during instalation i
recieve a message saying" Error 1311.Source file not
found :D/Game.cab. verify file exsists and that you can
access it"
What does all that mean ???....Please help.....
..
Someone mentioned to cut and paste may help??????
 
Hi Jeremy,

Assuming "D" is your CD drive, clean your CD drive and the installation
disk. Any commercial CD lens cleaner will do. The system is not able to read
the disk.
