error installing digital software error 00001603

Dear friends I bought a olympus digital camera , when installing the soft
ware i get an message saying INsatllation error 00001603, tec support at
olympus says its micrsoft related can anyone please tell me why and how I can
fix that, so i can down loads some pics?

Don't know how to fix that one...
but assuming the camera has a card in it...all you need is a card reader...
no camera software is really needed if you transfer your photos that way
