Error in Winlogon.log on DC

Hi,

This maybe related to my post below, on the domain password policy not being
enforced. I've just check the winlogon.log file after refreshing the GP and
I found this.

Error 0 to send control flag 1 over to server.
GPLinkDomain GPO_INFO_FLAG_BACKGROUND )
GPLinkOrganizationUnit GPO_INFO_FLAG_BACKGROUND )

[Mapping] gpt00000.dom = Default Domain Policy

I searched for error code 1208 but it doesn't give anything usful!

The event log shows

Event ID: 1202

Description:
Security policies are propagated with warning. 0x4b8 : An extended error has
occurred.

For best results in resolving this event, log on with a non-administrative
account and search http://support.microsoft.com for "Troubleshooting Event
1202s".


I searched for event id 1202 and scecli which gave some suggestions on
fixing it, which i've tried but to no avail!

Hi,

I think I have fixed this now, after looking at some of the error logs I
figured the secedit.sdb batabase was corrupt, so I ran

esentutl /p c:\winnt\security\database\secedit.sdb /v /x

And it seemed to fixed the problem
