Error in WIndows Picture and Fax viewer

Whenever I try to rotate a .jpg or sometimes just when
browsing from thumbnail to thumbnail I get a 'Windows
Picture and Fax viewer has encountered an error and must
close' error....I often have to restart as a result. I did
a search and found this is a common 'bug' but the fix was
only offered via calling MS support! Does anyone know
where I can find and download this fix?? I use the program
frequently, and these mini crashes are an everyday
occurance...not to mention very annoying.

The probable cause is your software for your video (graphic, display) card
is not up to date. Go to the manufacturer Internet site of your video card
and download and install the latest driver for your video card.
