error in updates

Ive been trying to update Windows Defender, it starts and gets most of way
through i then get a error box saying..... unable to complete updates, code
0x80240022, wrong diskette in drive insert %2 vol. serno%3 in drive 1. now
that means nothing to me and it doesnt offer any way of fixing it. please
help???
 
Hi Al,

I had the same problem and it was an easy fix (once I found it). Go to
Windows update and update windows, there's is a high-priority update for
Windows Defender that solves the issue. I had windows set to do automatic
updates but apparently my firwall was blocking it from doing so. Hope this
helps.
