Error in pnpshark id: 4

Hi

I was wondering if somebody could help me with an error I
receive in event viewer. The error is classified as ID 4
and is label as pnpshark .I receive two of these errors
in my Win XP Pro SP1 installation quite frequently and I
was wondering if they are responsible about a general
slowdown in my hard disks (one of them became dirty as
well) all my hard disks and partitions are in ntfs if
that helps.

Have you istalled daemon tools? Daemon tools installs a pnp bios
driver (pnpshark.sys) that cause this issue in my pc. See in your
device manager if you have this driver and let me know
