Error in Hard Drive

I own a Compaq 2215 AP Laptop. As soon as I boot my laptop, it gives the
error " Smart Drive Failure, please replace your hard disk. Press F1 to
continue". This error started coming after "Physical memory dump" error came
2-3 times. What could be the reason and what should I do now.

That error message states just what it says. Your hard drive has been
detected as having faults that can cause catastrophic failure. Replace it.

In addition to Richard's reply, do not forget to back up
vital data and information files on the hard drive on a
regular basis while waiting for the replacement hard drive
to arrive.
